| Oliver D. Brown, 83, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away December 19, 2009 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital Regional Center in Clarksburg.
He was born in Clay County a son of the late William Frederick Brown and Lillie Gross Brown. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and was a former truck driver.
Surviving are 3 sons, Frederick Brown of Spencer, John Mark Brown of Indianapolis Indiana, and David Allen Brown of Franklin Indiana; a brother, Russell Brown of Greenville North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; a 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Zella Mae Brown; and two sisters, Hilda Chance and Olive Ramsey.
Memorial Services will be held 1 p.m. January 9, 2010 at the Little Laurel Baptist Church with Rev. David McLaughlin officiating.
Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
