5,000 GALLON BOTTLED WATER ON WAY TO CALHOUN - Public Water Service Disrupted

(12/21/2009)
Hundreds of water customers served by the Pleasant Hill PSD are without water, because a pumping station is not operational because of the lack of electricity.

Calhoun's 911/OES Director Kathy Wood is obtaining 5,000 gallons of bottled water through the state's Office of Emergency Services, to be delivered today (Monday) to Pleasant Hill Elementary School and the Upper West Fork VFD.

Many rural residents are also without water because water pumps are not working.

Unfortunately the arrival time was not learned for this update at noon.
