The Department of Health and Human Resources is going
to start accepting applications for emergency heating assistance in January. Funds are available to families who can't paying heating bills and are in danger of having natural gas or electric service turned off. Applications
for assistance will be accepted at all DHHR Bureau for Children and Families offices starting on Jan. 11.
The program operates until funds run out.
