| Fredrick Junior McIntyre, 71, of Sand Ridge, West Virginia, passed away December 7, 2009, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington.
He was born in Wirt County, a son of the late Isaac and Ruby A. McIntyre. Fred had worked in Cleveland, Ohio, at Performed Line Products and Dolloff Inc. After leaving Cleveland, he worked in the oil fields and later at Gatewood Products of Parkersburg.
He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Eldred and husband, Karl; three grandchildren, Rhonda Abbott, Isaac and Alexus Sprouse; two sisters, Shirley Bradley and her husband, Harley, of Vincent, Ohio, and Betty Helfeldt and her husband, Jack, of College Station, Texas; two brothers, Tom McIntyre of Sand Ridge and Lee McIntyre and wife, Goldie, of Clay; and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Rev. Randy Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in the Hunt Cemetery at Big Bend.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
