A wind advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. Wednesday evening.
While posting this story at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Hur Herald wind gage was showing gusts at 48 mph.
The NWS says a potent storm system will continue to affect the region through
Wednesday.
Southeasterly winds ahead of a cold front associated
with this system will increase before turning to
the southwest Wednesday morning as the front passes through.
Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph with wind gusts up to 50 mph can
be expected Wednesday.
