Arnoldsburg Elementary School
The AES PTO held their annual Santa's Workshop. Students were able to purchase gifts for their friends and families.
The next PTO meeting will be Monday, December 7th at 8:30 a.m. Fourth grade students will be the special guests. The drawing for the Plasma TV will be held during the meeting.
There will be a special Instructional, Support, and Enhancement time for students from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 8th, at the school. The activity bus will be available for main routes only: US 33 and Rt. 16 South. Please contact the school if your child will be attending.
The Title 1 Staff at AES cordially invites you to a literacy workshop on Friday, December 11th, at 8:30 a.m. It will be held at the school in the Title 1 Room. Amanda Harsh from the West Virginia Parent Connections will be presenting a recently developed collection of resources that teachers and parents can use to help families support learners from preschool to high school. All those in attendance will receive a free literacy tool kit. Breakfast will be served. Please contact the school office at 304-655-8616 if you plan to attend.

December 10: Storyteller Ilene Evans will be doing a presentation for students.
December 11: PTO sponsored Christmas Movie Day for Students. A healthy snack will be provided for students afterward.
December 18: Pictures with Santa.
December 22: Christmas Program at 1 p.m.; Class parties will begin after the program is finished.
