| State Police and a Calhoun Deputy Sheriff responded to Jesses Run Road at 2 a.m. today, following a 911 call to a home invasion and armed hold-up.
The intruder, whose face was reportedly covered, kicked-in the door of the residence and demanded money.
Jeremy Saunders and his wife Susanna reportedly complied with the request, but Saunders was struck in the head with the butt of a gun, receiving a gash on the forehead.
Reports indicate the gunman, who could have been accompanied by another person, was a tall man wearing a camouflage jacket.
He fled the area in what could have been a GMC truck.
