| William Dove Cottrill, 90, of Rosedale, West Virginia, passed away November 21, 2009.
He was born in Braxton County a son of the late General George Cottrill and Freda Dillon Cottrill.
He was a timberman and pipeline construction worker.
Surviving are his children, Karen Lietz of Parkersburg, Shirley Schmidt of Elyria Ohio, Gene Cottrill, Steven Jo Cottrill (Dendra Miller) all of Rosedale, and Judy Cottrill of Wooster Ohio; 3 brothers, Don Cottrill and Glen Cottrill both of Rosedale, and Eugene Cottrill of Newbury Ohio; 2 sisters, Ruth Kirk of Newbury, and Merle Jarvis of Gassaway; 15 grandchildren; and 2 special grandchildren Marshall and Isaac; several great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Audrey Mae Norman Cottrill; a son Harry Cottrill; a granddaughter Amelia Nicole Cottrill; a sister Vena Clark; and a brother Orville Dale Cottrill.
At Mr. Cottrill's request there will be no services.
