MURDER-SUICIDE IN LOGAN - Two Logan County residents are dead in an apparent murder-suicide in Chapmanville.
A man died from his gunshot injuries around Wednesday night, and a woman died early Thursday morning.
MASKED MAN ROBS 7-11 - A man wearing a Halloween mask robbed the 7-Eleven store in Parkersburg.
He used a rifle to hold-up the store at 4 a.m.
The clerk handed over the money to the robber who was wearing the mask of an old man.
GREENBRIER MOTEL HOLD-UP - Greenbrier County deputies are investigating an armed robbery at the Best Value Inn in Fairlea.
The robber entered the motel armed with a knife, demanded money and made off with an undetermined amount of cash.
Deputies said the robber covered his face with a cloth.
WOMAN STABS MAN OVER RENT - WSAZ-TV reports that
Julianna Elswick told officers that she and her boyfriend, Paris Workman II, lived with Christina Page. Page allegedly confronted Elswick about rent money owed, put a knife in her face and threatened to stab Workman if he didn't pay up.
Police say Elswick told Workman about the threat and went to speak with Page on the porch, where they started arguing.
Page then stabbed Workman in the right arm and left side of his head during the fight.
Page was arrested and charged with malicious wounding and malicious assault.
HOME INVASION - Police are looking for two men who broke into a Cabell County home and shot two people.
The victims are identified as the home owner, Larry Wallace from Culloden, age unknown, and 34-year old Gary Huffman from Columbus, Ohio.
The victims claim the two robbers wanted money when they busted into the home at White's Trailer Park.
