The Southern Calhoun Cougars met Nov. 16 at the Upper West Fork Park. There were 9 attending. The members chose a club name, elected officers, and planned events.
The officers are, Pres. Rick Allen; V.P. Sara Husk; Treasurer Chris Goad; Secretary Jessica Wood; Song Leader Stacie Snider; Game Leader Shiann McCumbers.
The Cougars selected project books, planned fundraisers, and set up a Christmas pizza and bowling party. The members finalized the plans for an auction by Randy's Auction set for Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. at the Upper West Fork Park in Chloe.
The members decided to not exchange gifts this year but instead buy presents and donate them to the Calhoun Christmas Connection.
Kelli Zwoll and Shelley Goad would like to thank all the new and old members for attending. If you would like to become a Southern Calhoun Cougar 4-H member you can meet with us at our next meeting on Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Upper West Fork Park in Chloe.
