| Sherman Wise, 75, of Glenville West Virginia,
formerly of Spencer died February 21, 2002 at the
Louis A. Johnson VA medical Center in Clarksburg
WV.
He was born April 25, 1926 in Roane County, a
son of the later Robert H. and Lummie Hodges
Wise. He formerly worked for B&B Railroad, in
the oil fields, and as a timberman. He was a
veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by five daughters, Katie
Westfall, Helen Springston, Marie Tanner, and
Peggy Tanner, all of Spencer. Susan Tanner of
Front Royal, Virginia. Four sons, Robert Wise of
Glenville, David Wise of Parkersburg, WV, Ivan
Wise of Spencer, and Sherman Wise of Gandeeville.
WV. Two sisters Opal and Arizona, both of
Grantsville, and one brother June Wise of
Grantsville; several grandchildren and several
great-grandchildren.
