| John Buchanan Adams Salisbury, 80, of Salem, formerly of Spencer, died Saturday, November 7, 2009, in the United Hospital Center, Clarksburg.
He was born February 27, 1929, in South Charleston, a son of the late Jacob Cluster and Hattie Esther Watkins Salisbury. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Macel Irene Salisbury; son, John Allen Salisbury.
Mr. Salisbury was a craftsman specializing in knife making. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include three daughters, Sue Helen Hernandez of Michigan, Ruth Michele Salisbury of Wilmington, Ohio, Patricia June and her husband, Robert Steven Cook of Arnoldsburg; two sisters, Jenny Warren of Hollywood, Fla. and Marion Ruth Crone of Lakeland, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
There will be no service or visitation.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
