| Robert L. "Bob" Wilson, 79, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Monday, November 9, 2009, at home.
He was born September 21, 1930, at Spencer, a son of the late Basil and Lula Starcher Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Brabham Wilson; and son, Gary L. Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was a retired employee of Columbia Gas, with 35 years of service. He was a farmer and attended the Peniel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Linkinogger of Spencer; brother, Darrell Wilson of Spencer; sisters, Marie Hall of Winfield and Eloise Miller of Spencer; six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Larry Greathouse and the Rev. Michael Robinson officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
Friends may call Thursday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
