| Charles W. Wolfe age 83, of Baldwin Community, Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday November 4, 2009 at Glenville Care & Rehabilitation, following a 6 month illness.
He was born June 8, 1926 in Gilmer County, son of the late Frank and Ola Wiant Wolfe.
Charles was a graduate of Sand Fork High School, former employee of Glenville Ford Sales, parts department supervisor, and retired from Flying W Plastics. He was a member of the Gilmer Co. Masonic Lodge and a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church at Baldwin.
He was united in marriage to Geneva Langford Wolfe on September 14, 1953, who preceded him in death on July 24 of this year.
Surviving are 1 daughter, Dawne McHenry and husband Ronnie of Glenville; 2 grandchildren, Jason McHenry and wife Tracie of Normantown and Brittany McHenry of Glenville; 1 great grandchild, Harlee McHenry of Normantown; 1 cousin, Mary Jo Ours of Flatwoods, and special friend and caregiver Wakasa Ellyson.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 7, 2009 at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. Glenville with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial will follow in the Stalnaker Cemetery Rt. 5 west of Glenville.
Friends may call the mortuary from 4-8 p.m. Friday evening.
