Curtis Walbrown , 91 of Looneyville, WV died Sunday, February 24, 2002 at his home following
a long illness.
Born in Calhoun County , he was a son of the late Michael and Mary Sampson Walbrown. He
was a retired supervisor for the West Virginia Department of Highways. He was a member of
the Linden Masonic Lodge and the Milo Church. He was an avid fox hunter. He was the last
member of the Michael Walbrown family
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Miller Walbrown.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Willadean Walbrown; seven brothers, Henry, Wilbur,
Ernest, Winfred, Seldon, Oris and Denver Walbrown; five sisters, Olive Moneypenny, Stella
Hardy, Hariett Witte, Icy Bailey and Elizabeth Surface.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 2, 2002, 1 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home,
Arnoldsburg, WV. Reverend Carl Marks will officiate. Interment will be in the Fink Cemetery,
Minnora, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
