| Harriett Virginia Richards Clegg, 64, of Glenville, West Virginia, died on Tuesday, November 03, 2009, at her home.
She was born April 27, 1945 a daughter of the late David M. and Gertrude P. Richardson Richards. She was a Protestant by faith. She retired in 1994 after many years of service from Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.
She is survived by 1 sister, Garnet McCrady of Parkersburg, WV; 1 daughter, Teresa Lydick (Roger) of Glenville; 3 sons, Christopher (Chris) Clegg and Melanie of Marietta, Ohio, Charles R. Clegg and David M. Clegg of Parkersburg, WV; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband and lifetime companion, Charles R. Clegg, Jr., son, Thomas (Tommy) Clegg, brothers Thomas (Tom) Richards, Norman Richards, David Richards and sisters Gladys Clegg, Ila Marshall and Goldie Coe.
A private family service will be held at a later date. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Diabetes Foundation. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
