| Time is running out for ginseng diggers in the Mountain State.
The ginseng season started on Sept. 1 and ends on Nov. 30.
Ginseng diggers can take their roots to any one of 10 Division of Forestry weigh stations for certification and weighing.
Diggers and dealers have until March 31 to have their roots certified and weighed.
From April 1 through Aug. 31, it's illegal to possess uncertified ginseng roots or roots that don't have weight receipts. |
