LEWIS STAND-OFF - A Lewis County man is locked up after a 45 minute stand off with police.
The incident apparently started as a domestic dispute in Jane Lew, Sunday.
Terry Garton, 48, has been arrested and charged with three counts of wanton endangerment.
Police say Garton fired three shots from a high powered rifle into a home. There were six people inside the home.
While all three shots struck the house, no one was injured.
Garton was standing in a nearby graveyard when he fired his rifle.
After a 45 minute stand-off outside of Garton's car, he was apprehended and taken into custody.
MAN STABBED SIX TIMES - A man was stabbed six times during a bar fight at Overtime Sports Lounge in South Charleston during the early morning hours Friday.
The man was stabbed twice in the kidneys and once in the chest.
Police are saying, however, his injuries are not life-threatening.
He was taken to Thomas Memorial Hospital.
The man with the knife is in custody. He'll be charged with malicious wounding.
