The Calhoun High School Volleyball team traveled to Flatwoods Tuesday and defeated Braxton County in three sets 25-16, 25-16, 25-12.

Scoring for Calhoun: Rochelle Gerwig 11 points, 2 aces; Ashley Houchin 9 points, 1 ace; Jordan Mace 8 points, 3 aces; Amber Wilford 8 points, Michelle Hall 5 points, 2 aces; Karissa Reip 5 points.

Setting: Houchin 60/62, 23 assists. Hitting: Wilford 21/24, 12 kills; Mace 7/7, 4 kills; Reip 213/17, 3 kills; Gerwig 6/6, 2 kills; Hall 1/2, 1 kill; Taylor Green 5//5, 1 kill. Blocks: Wilford 2; Digs: Gerwig 4, Houchin 3, Hall 3.

Braxton defeated the JV in two sets 25-12, 25-10.
