Everyone can agree that the economy is in pretty rough shape and it does not look like it is going to get better in the near future.
Hard economic times seem to fall on the neediest the hardest. We at the Salvation Army will be out there this Christmas season doing our best to help those in need.

This is your chance - the Salvation Army is looking for cheery, smiling faces to ring the bell for our Christmas Kettle drive. What better way to give than to give the opportunity to others to give to the needy?
Seniors are encouraged to join in the fun (especially those who remember what Christmas is really about.) Just give Janet a call at the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Spencer, she will set you up to get started doing some good deeds.
