911 HAS BUSY SATURDAY - Bee Stings, Disputes, ATV Accidents

A 66-year-old Milo Road man was injured in an ATV accident before noon, after his head struck a branch while riding. Calhoun EMS took the injured man to Roane General Hospital.

A Mt. Zion man was injured after his ATV struck a deer late Saturday night. (See additional story)

Calhoun EMS responded to Main Street, Grantsville, to assist a woman riding a motorbike who received a bee sting, and did not have her emergency kit for self-treatment.

Police and Calhoun EMS responded to Mill Street shortly before noon where an individual in Grantsville was reportedly struck with a pipe on Mill Street in what was reported as a dispute over a vehicle. Deputy Justin Smith responded with Calhoun EMS. No one was transported to the hospital.

A 44-year-old Cremo area man was reported unresponsive at 6:10 p.m. after encountering a nest of bees, reportedly suffering an allergic reaction. Calhoun EMS responded to the incident, obtaining a refusal for treatment.

Shortly after midnight Saturday, police responded to Mill Street, Grantsville, where a man reportedly shot a woman's daughter with a BB gun.
