Hazel Dell Seaman, 84, of Ripley, died February 15, 2002, at her home in
Ripley.
She was born Oct. 3, 1918, in Roane County, daughter of the late Ray and Erma
Guthrie Miller. She was retired from the Kellwood Company in Spencer.
She is survived by her husband, John E. Seaman of Ripley; two sons, Stephen
Lowther of Benton, Ark., James "Joey" Lowther of Ripley; three daughters, Jean
Rhodes, Diane Hamric and Debbie Clendenin, all of Ripley; brothers, Wayne
Miller and Billy Miller of Peniel, Henry Miller of Ripley, Russell Miller of Florida;
two sisters, Rachel Johnson and Mildred Kerns of Ripley; 15 grandchildren and
15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Thelma Harrison and Maggie Miller;
brothers, Harold, Elmer and Charles Miller.
Funeral service will be Monday, February 18, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Vail Funeral
Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Hinzman officiating. Burial will be in the
Mount Zion Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at the Vail Funeral
Home.
