| Marjorie E. Barnett, 64, of Looneyville, West Virginia, died Friday, September 11, 2009.
She was born Thursday, August 16, 1945, in Roane County, a daughter of the late Ralph W. and Nettie Nida King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl G. "Sandy" Barnett; one daughter, Marcia Drake.
Marjorie was a homemaker and mother.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Hays Smith of Arnoldsburg and Lisa Delaney of Spencer; one son, William Travis Hays of Looneyville; one sister, Rosalie Horner of Portsmouth, OH; two brothers, Bud King of Left Hand and Rex King of Pigeon; seven grandchildren, Stephen Justice, Rebecca Sloan, Ashley Westfall, Zachariah Smith, Samuel Harrison, Joshua Hays and Sara Hays; four great grandchildren, Thomas Sloan, Lukas Sloan, Shaileigh Cunningham and Mahailah Cunningham.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 15 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Michael F. "Mike" King officiating. Burial will be in the King Cemetery, Newton.
Friends may call Monday, September 14 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
