| David Robert Hancock, 82, of Ravenswood, West Virginia, passed away September 12, 2009 at Charleston Area Medical Center, General Division.
He was retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Company of Akron, Ohio with 38 years service. He was a US Marine Veteran and was a member of Coventry-Akron Lodge # 83 F. and A.M.
Surviving are one sister, Jeanne Dunn of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and his loving companion Tressie Metheney of Ravenswood.
He was preceded in death by 26 bothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 15 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Darius Arnold will officiate. Interment will be in the Coen Cemetery at Nebo, WV with Masonic Graveside Rites.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services Tuesday.
