| Juanita V. Moody, 82 of Elizabeth, West Virginia passed away at her residence Monday September 7, 2009 after an extended illness.
She was born October 28, 1926 the daughter of the late Russell and Geneva Basnett Tucker.
She was a 1944 graduate of Wirt County High School. She was a member of the Creston Church.
She was the loving wife of Robert H. Moody Jr. for 34 years whom survives, in addition to 3 children, Russell "Rusty" Snyder of Creston WV, Mary "Ginger" Dennis of Elizabeth, and Robin (Mark) Ludwig of Newark, WV; one grandson Phillip (Shawna) Dennis of Belpre, Ohio; 6 great grandchildren, Amanda Gohn of Parkersburg, WV, Zackary Gohn of Elizabeth, Justin Smith of Parkersburg, Mary Dennis of Williamstown, WV, Aleda Olcott of PA, and Jessica Fryman of Morgantown, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Kermit Tucker.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 9 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth, WV with Rev. Dean Ash officiating. Interment will be at Hill Grove Cemetery II of Sonoma, WV.
Visitation will be Tuesday September 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. till time of the service.
