| Perry Leo Richards, 54, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009 at his home following a short illness.
He was born April 15, 1955, and was preceded in death by his mother Ola Lee "Pook" Richards Triplett; sisters, Dorothy "Dottie" Richards, Patricia "Patty" Richards Knight; brothers, DeWayne Ford and Charles Richards; grandparents, Maggie "Dude" and Desmoin Richards who raised him and whom he lovingly called Mommy and Daddy; and his first wife Patty of Cleveland, Ohio.
Perry is survived by his wife, Debbie Thomas Richards; his children, Lisa and Michael Richards of Grantsville, WV, Tamara and Tommy Richards of Cleveland, and a special daughter, Crystal Bell of Brohard, WV; sisters, Anna Mae Richards Music of Point Pleasant, WV, Charlotte and Ford Shaffer of Cleveland, Sadie "Tiny" Cunningham of Parkersburg, WV, and Dessall "Sitter" Starcher of Barberton, OH; brothers, Denny Paul Ford of PA, Larry, Ronzel and Denver Richards of Big Bend, WV; 5 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 9 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Interment will be in the Norman Ridge Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral services.
The family will receive friends at the home of Lisa Richards following the services.
