Richard A. Starcher, 29, a Spencer resident, plead guilty this week to conspiracy to commit a felony, related to his role in the robbery of Calhoun Banks at Arnoldsburg last December.
He entered his plea through attorney Shannon Baldwin, before Circuit Judge David W. Nibert.
Starcher will appear for sentencing in October.
He is facing a possible sentence of 1-to-5 years in prison. He is still incarcerated in Central Regional Jail.
Police say Starcher helped an Ohio resident, Darin Stephen McClain, claiming a trio of men took about $16,000 from the branch bank.
In the criminal complaint against Starcher, a family member said Starcher and McClain had been in contact for weeks, Starcher indicating he would be coming into some money and would be able to pay for Christmas presents.
Twenty-four-year-old McClain, who was the principal figure in the robbery, was sentenced in July to 77 months in federal prison, to be followed by three years of supervised release. He was also ordered to make restitution of $14,409.
When he was arrested by Ohio authorities at his girlfriend's apartment in Akron, police found a safe that contained 400 grams of marijuana and about $7,000 in cash.
McClain will be serving his sentence at the Petersburg Federal Correctional Complex in Petersburg, Va., with a release date of July in 2014.
Beau Allen Collins, 26, of Arnoldsburg, who was also arrested following the bank robbery, has been charged with being an accessory. His case is still pending.
Also this week, James Keith Hardman of Grantsville and Creston, entered a plea through his attorney Rocky Holmes for sexual abuse in the 1st degree. He will return for sentencing in November.
