| MERCER MAN MURDERED - State Police say a man was murdered in his Mercer County home over the weekend.
A female friend found the body of Carles Edward Mitchem, 63, at his mobile home and called Mercer County 911.
The body is at the state Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
TWO DEAD IN CLENDENIN - An elderly Kanawha County couple have died after a double shooting Monday morning.
Police say Glen and Mary Sherman died of gunshot wounds.
Clendenin Police Dept. found both the man and woman dead after arriving at the couple's home on 6th Street in Clendenin, the incident is an apparent murder-suicide.
THREE MORGANTOWN HOLD-UPS - Police say the robberies started on Saturday at Woof's Pet Store, with Tan 1 hit Sunday afternoon.
Monday morning, Maverick's Hot Spot at South University Avenue Plaza was also robbed.
"One of the Maverick's employees was outside at the time when a male subject wearing a grey hoodie with the hood up, armed with a hand gun with black gloves, grabbed the employee, took her inside the business and did the armed robbery inside," says Morgantown Police.
All three robberies happened in broad daylight, all three at gunpoint.
FAIRMONT ROBBERY - The Fairmont Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Dairy Mart on Morgantown Avenue, Sunday.
No one was injured, although police say the male suspect did get away with an undisclosed amount of money.
