| Romie Junior Chapman, III, 29, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Thursday, July 30, 2009, at his home, after a brief illness.
He was born Monday, October 8, 1979, at Charleston, the son of Romie J. and Bonnie S. McGarrity Chapman, Sr. of Spencer.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his fiancée, Rebecca Hayes of Spencer; brothers, Randall Chapman of Walton, Joey Chapman of Kenna, Denver Chapman of Spencer and Roger Chapman of Inez, Kentucky.
Romie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles Reynolds and Dorothy Larch.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, August 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
