"I'M INNOCENT" - A Charleston man was arrested in a shooting early Tuesday morning. Mark A. Johnson, Jr., 19, is accused of shooting 19-year-old Dwayne Harbinson.
Harbinson, a Dunbar resident, suffered a single wound along the right side of his torso.
"I'm innocent, I didn't do anything," Johnson said on his way to a hearing before Magistrate Julie Yeager.
He is being charged with one felony count of malicious wounding and is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.
GIRLFRIEND STABBED, BODY HIDDEN - Documents state a 23-year-old man fatally stabbed his girlfriend in the throat in Huntington and hid her body in a crawl space.
Jessie Aaron Blevins of Huntington is in Western regional Jail.
The murder victim is Elizabeth Grace Cotton, 23, of Huntington.
The complaint says that Blevins stabbed Cotton in the throat and then placed her body in the crawl space on Jackson Ave.
The complaint says investigators filed the first-degree murder charge based upon Blevins' confession and other evidence.
HUNTINGTON ROBBERY - Huntington Police made an arrest in a robbery that happened at a CVS pharmacy.
Thirty-one-year-old Bryan Skeens of Chesapeake, Ohio has been charged.
Police say Skeens was stopped in his vehicle, and that they found a large quantity of narcotics inside. He reportedly confessed to the robbery during a later interview.
He pointed a gun at the clerk and got away with $300 dollars in cash and numerous Oxycontin pills.
He appeared Tuesday evening in Cabell County Magistrate Court.
