Sons of the American Legion State Commander, Roy Turner and State Historian Billy Hall, both of Duck, WV, traveled recently to Washington, joining other state representatives at the annual Washington Conference.
Upon arriving, they boarded a bus for a tour of the national sights and presented a West Virginia wreath at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
It was a moving experience for the two West Virginia officers who belong to Braxton County Memorial Squadron #33 of Gassaway.
