Theodore B. "Ted" Cunningham, 49, of Walton, West Virginia, died Tuesday, July 14, 2009, in the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
He was born Friday, January 22, 1960, at Weirton, the son of Emmett B. and Ruth A. Cline Cunningham of Walton.
Ted was an employee of the Kanawha Parks and Recreation Commission. He had worked at several of the County golf courses. He enjoyed his dogs, fox chasing and deer hunting.
In addition to his parents, survivors include two sisters, Thelma Cunningham of Paducah, KY and Virginia Bronson of Walton; one brother, Harold Cunningham of Midville, UT; maternal grandmother, Thelma Cline of Newnan, GA.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Theodore Emmett and Virginia Rose Chips Cunningham and his maternal grandfather, Bernard Cline.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 17 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Skip Watkins officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Ambler Ridge, Walton.
Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
