About 35 Calhoun residents, victims of the May flood, have applied to FEMA for help, according to Kathy Wood, Calhoun E-911/OES Director.
Residents along the West Fork, Beech and Henry's Fork experienced most of the property damage.
Wood says she is unclear how much help FEMA will allot to repair driveways and bridges.
FEMA Spokesman Frank Blake says the federal agency has handed out more than $12 million dollars in various forms of help to victims, including several affected in Calhoun.
Blake said in "Mingo County we had over 2,300 and Wyoming County over 1,200 applications."
"In McDowell County, we had over 500 applications and significant numbers in Raleigh and Calhoun counties. Calhoun County was hit a week earlier than Mingo, but it was the same storm system," he said.
Small Business Administration's loan applications are coming due very soon.
"SBA has written more than $3.5 million in loans," Blake said.
