A car show drew a large number
of participants and observers

Saturday was fun-filled at the Brooksville Baptist Church, mostly for the kids of the community, but a number of activities appealed to the older folks too, including gospel music.

The free church-sponsored community celebration drew a large number of area residents to the afternoon event.

Water slides, a moon bounce, carnival games, face painting, a magic show, a fire truck, heavy machinery, and a wrecker to explore, plus crafts for the kids were among the activities.

The older crowd enjoyed looking at the antique cars, while the youngsters had snow cones and popcorn.

A free luncheon was served, and there was lots of drawings and prizes.
