NEEDS MARLBOROS- An armed robbery occurred at a Speedway store in Teays Valley, according to Sheriff Mark Smith. A white male, who appeared to be in his 20s, walked into the Speedway carrying a silver revolver and demanded Marlboro Red cigarettes and money, the sheriff said. He was wearing a black ski mask and blue jeans that were tattered. He fled with four cartons of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of money. BECKLEY HOLD-UP - Two men are facing charges after police say they robbed a Beckley convenience store. James Thomas, 21, and 19-year-old Stephan Sayles have been charged with armed robbery and are being held on $250,000 bond each. The men used a gun to hold-up The Little General store. Beckley Police pulled Thomas and Sayles over, shortly after the robbery. There were two additional people in the vehicle who fled the scene.
