The re-addressing of Calhoun County for E-911 is likely to be approved at the Calhoun
Commission meeting on February 11, according to County Clerk, Richard Kirby.
The system will require the renaming of a few roads, but everyone will have a change
in their mailing address.
Kirby said if the Commission moves ahead with the current plan, residents will
receive a notice in the mail with their new address.
Residents must then inform people of their address change.
"The maps are available in the County Clerk's office for inspection," said Kirby.
