Tressie Stutler, 92, of Norton, Ohio, went to be with the Lord June 26, 2009 and her beloved husband she missed for so long.
Born November 3, 1916 in Calhoun County, West Virginia, she was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grand-mother. Tressie was a role model to her family, she lived her testimony, always ready to lend a hand, make a meal for those in need, and always had a prayer in her heart. She enjoyed family gatherings, sewing, gardening, and was a great writer of songs and stories. She sang with her daughters and also solo at many church functions. She played the guitar and harmonica, and even in her late years never forgot how to play her harmonica. She will be sadly missed here on earth, but we look forward to joining her with our Savior one day and she would want us to ask you if you know Jesus as your personal savior?
Special thanks to Altercare of Wadsworth and the beautiful care from the staff. We appreciate you.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray H. Stutler; father and mother, Samuel and Vevie R. Shrader; and brothers, Hallie, Wilmer, and Virgil Shrader; she is survived by loving daughters, Phylis Starcher, Delores Griffen and husband Buford, and youngest daughter and beautiful caregivers, Margie and Harlon Scott; sister, Jean (William) Woody; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home, 107 Market St., Grantsville, WV, with Rev. Margie Scott officiating. Burial at Cooper Cemetery.
