| Bethel V. Starcher, 69 of Elizabeth, West Virginia, went home to be with her Lord June 20, 2009 after an extended illness.
She was born in Wood County the daughter of the late Ray and Merrilla Derenberger.
She worked for several years At Foodland of Elizabeth.
She attended God's House of Worship and volunteered at the church mission.
She is survived by her 3 children, Andra Kelley, Lori Starcher and John Starcher all of Elizabeth; 4 grandchildren Justin Starcher of Elizabeth, Andrew "A.J." Starcher III of Baltimore MD, Jessica Starcher of Spencer, and Kenton Turner of Spencer; 2 sisters, Mary Shears of Mineral Wells, and Patty Buckbee of Vienna.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Brady Bibbee and her late husband Jesse Starcher; 1 son Andrew "Butch" Starcher II; and one brother, Joseph Burdette.
Services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday June 23 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth with Rev. Raymond Gumm and Rev. Randy Ash officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. until time of the service.
Interment will be at a later date at Mt Zion Cemetery of Mineral Wells.
