Carl Collins, Welding-Technology Instructor at the Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center is proud of his students.
Mr. Collins says, "I would like to congratulate four individuals from my welding Technology program who worked very hard this year to pass a welding certification, I am very proud of their efforts."
Senior students, Nicholas Stevens, Ethan Collins and Tyler Hall received a plate welding certificate from the Department of Education.
Collins said an adult student, Paul Morgan of Randolph County traveled four hours one way every Friday for 16 weeks to
pass his certification.
"I think when students put forth this kind of effort we should recognize them," said Collins.
