| A 45-year-old Clarksburg man wanted in the deaths of several individuals, including one victim whose body was found at Copen, Braxton County, killed himself in a Clarksburg motel room as police approached.
Police say James Childers may be involved in five homicides and four arsons.
Police went on the hunt of two bodies, one in Braxton and Barbour, based on information Childers provided in a letter and two-hour taped message he sent to an officer earlier this week.
Clarksburg detective Dave Wygal says Childers confessed to setting four fires on a street where he lived.
He admitted to being involved in dumping one of the bodies.
