Mary Lee Parfitt, 60, of York, South Carolina, formerly of Spencer, WV, died January 27,
2002, in the Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC.
She was born February 6, 1941, in Spencer, a daughter of the late Haymond Cecil and Frances Marie Waldeck Casto. She was a
retired employee of Gen-Pak, Charlotte, NC and a former employee of Norris Industries, Spencer, she was a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Smith of Leroy, WV, Angela Marie Wallace of Matthews, NC and
Lynda Issac
Parfitt of Ohio; four sons, Anthony Ray Parfitt of Tennessee, Thomas Wayne Parfitt of York, SC, William Richard
Issac of Ohio; Randall Evan Isaac of Walton, WV; one
stepson, Russell Talmedge Parfitt of Chester, SC; four sisters, Jane Ann Wilson of Ravenna, Ohio, Donna Martin
and Connie Moles both of Spencer and Brenda Joseph of Garrettsville, Ohio; four brothers, Marion Casto of Chesapeake, Ohio,
Larry Casto of Spencer, Bobby Casto of Georgia and Danny Casto of Magadore, Ohio; seven grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Webster Parfitt in 1994.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, January 31 at John H. Taylor Funeral Home of
Spencer, with Reverend Darrell Alvis officiating. Burial will be in
Clover Cemetery, Clover, WV. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
