| Murell Basnett, 94, of Mt. Zion, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Minnie Hamilton Health System in Grantsville.
She was born at Daniel's Run, Calhoun County, a daughter of the late George and Margaret Craddock. She was a member of the Brooksville Baptist Church.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, many dear friends and family members.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dale Basnett; brothers, Brown, Howard, and Cecil Craddock; and a sister, Pearl Sampson.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 27 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Charles McDonald will officiate. Interment will be in the Big Bend Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. |
