A big week is ahead for Calhoun Middle-High School.
A WV State Department of Education audit team will be returning for a third visit May 27 and 28, after performing earlier audits which said "the school's performance and progress are persistently below standard.".
That report cited CM-HS for having problems in achievement, curriculum, student and school performance and leadership, recognizing "the urgency for change."
Kenna Seal, Director of the Office of Education Performance Audits, says "The report will first go to the West Virginia Board of Education, then placed on our website."
Calhoun Middle-High School has been operating with temporary accreditation related to a myriad of problems.
The audit team will determine if the school has made sufficient corrections to a list of performance deficiencies.
