Five beautiful young ladies will compete for the title of Queen Flora XLVII. The event, sponsored by the Calhoun County Wood Festival will be held 7 p.m. Monday at Calhoun Middle-High School. Contestants will compete in personal interview, personal style, talent and evening gown.
Chelsey Lee Ball is the 17 year old daughter of Randy and Brenda Ball of Five Forks. Chelsey's sponsors are, her parents, Cain Oil and Gas, Attorney Tony Morgan, State Farm Insurance Tim Moore Agent,
Attorney John Oshoway, Furr's Auto Sales, Classic Creations, J & B Drug Store, Danielle Stevens and Cassie Lamont, County Clerk Richard Kirby.
Kayla Danielle Boggs is the 17 year old daughter of Brenda and Henry Sinnett of Big Bend and Doug Boggs of Five Forks. Kayla's sponsors are, her parents, Furr's Auto Sales, Parsons One Stop, McFarlans Store, Cha-Ti's, Buckeye Oil Producing, Holbert's Store,

Trenda Jo Overbay is the 18 year old daughter of Bernard and Brenda Whipkey of Mt. Zion. Trenda's sponsors are, Stump Funeral Home,

Samantha Dawn Wilson is the 17 year old daughter of Donald and Lori Wilson of Mt. Zion. Samantha's sponsors are, her parents Houchin's Construction, Lori's Country Styling Station, Calhoun Banks, Ester Parsons, Erlewine Concrete, Ralph Cunningham of Little Kanawha Gas Measurement, Baker's Mart.
Other pageants sponsored by the Calhoun County Wood Festival, are scheduled for June 1st and 2nd. at Calhoun Middle-High School.
The Wood Festival Baby Pageant will be held 6 p.m. Monday, June 1st -prior to the Queen Flora XLVII Pageant at 7 p.m.
Ages 0-35 months will compete in evening wear only. Ages 3-4 will compete in personal style and evening wear.
Wood Festival Pageants ages 5-18 years will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 2nd. Contestants will compete in personal style and evening wear.
Miss Wood Festival Pageant will also be Tuesday, June 2 at 7 p.m. Contestants will compete in personal interview, personal style, swimsuit, and evening gown.
