A mail-in filing was received yesterday by Circuit Clerk Shelia Garretson. Rick
Fitzwater, current member of the Calhoun County Board of Education, filed for
re-election from Lee District.
Previously filing are, incumbents Juanita Berdine and Carlene Frederick, and
newcomers Don Harris and Loretta Holbert.
Three candidates are to be elected.
Garretson said no other individuals filed by mail, although she said it is possible a
midnight filing from Saturday could be received on Tuesday.
