Linda Edwards explains how to make a file folder game

Arnoldsburg Elementary, Title 1 hosted their final parent workshop of the school year - Make Reading Fun in the Sun, Friday, May 15. Title 1 teachers Linda Edwards and Tami Allen showed parents how to make activities that can be used to help their children stay interested in reading this summer.
Parents used items such as file folders, egg cartons, and beach balls to make games, which were all centered around reading skills. Twelve parents were involved in the workshop.
