| Evelyn G. Garrett, 92, of Elana, West Virginia, died Friday, May 15, 2009, at her home.
She was born Friday, January 19, 1917 at Elana, a daughter of the late J. Henry and Ninia McClain Hunt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Garrett; sister, Erma Boggs; and niece, Dorma Boggs.
She was a homemaker and formerly attended the Mud Fork Church, Stinson.
Survivors include several cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Zion Hill Cemetery, Elana, with the Rev. John B. Smith officiating. Friends may call at the graveside thirty minutes prior to the service.
