Jennifer Papouschek, a student at Gilmer County High School is the recipient of the 2009 Melissa Oshoway Memorial Criminal Justice Scholarship.
Jennifer is the daughter of Kent and Susan Papouschek of Smithville, WV. She is planning to attend The University of Charleston in the field of public policy. Upon competition, she plans to apply to WVU Law School.
The $1000 scholarship is given each year to a Calhoun or Gilmer County student currently attending the Career Center and pursuing a career in the field of Criminal Justice.
The Oshoways would like to thank Lyle and Kathy Kerby, Rick Modesitt, Billie and Wanda Houchin, Anita Parsons, Anita Ashley, Mort and Mary Beth Titus, Carolyn Lane, and Karen Holub for their donations to the scholarship fund.
