Flossie M. Stump, 83 of Wellington, Ohio, formerly of Stumptown, Gilmer County, died January
22 in Elyria United Methodist Village, Elyria, Ohio.
Born in Braxton County, she was a daughter of the late James L. and Eliza Dunlap Putnam.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joan Wiseman of Springfield, Missouri; two sons, Vaughn Stump
of Wellington, Ohio and Lawrence Stump of Mebane, North Carolina; two sisters, Elsie Knight
of Rosedale, West Virginia and Gertrude Lamp of Southington, Ohio; three brothers Edward
Putnam and Bernard Putnam both of Warren, Ohio and Robert Putnam of Pennsylvania; eight
grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Harold Stump in 1977; a sister and nine
brothers.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle of Grantsville.
Reverend Glenville McBride will officiate. Interment will be in the Putnam Cemetery at Rosdale.
Friends may call at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The
body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. |
