| The West Virginia School Building Authority has awarded $124.2 million for school construction projects around the state.
Gilmer's Normantown Elementary School project was not funded.
The Gilmer county project has been at the center of consolidation efforts
which ended in Supt. Ed Toman's contract not being renewed.
Ritchie's Smithville Elementary School will receive $4,379,160 for an addition and renovations.
Roane's Geary Elementary will receive $5,006,386 for an addition and renovations.
Six elementary schools will receive $3,900,000 for additions and renovations.
